Builmix Fly Ash (High Quality Fly Ash for Concrete)
Builmix Fly Ash is a residue of coal combustion that occurs at power generation plants, Fly ash is the finest coal combustion product generated during the burning of pulverized coal for power generation. It is consisted of small particles made of inorganic minerals. As a result of its mineral chemistry, particularly as it is rich in silica, it normally exhibits pozzolanic and sometimes cementitious behavior. Therefore, it is considered as an important (cost-reducing) additive in cement.
Uses:
- Normally used as a cement replacement.
- Particularly suited for mass concrete applications
- Suitable with concrete in hot weather climates.
Advantages:
- Reduces heat gained due to cement hydration.
- Increases density of concrete.
- Reduces plastic dry shrinkage and thermal cracks.
- Provides protection against chemical attack.
- Reduces the penetration of chloride ions in concrete.
- Improves durability.
- Improves the fine aggregates grading and eliminate the gap grading problems through the finer portions.
- Builmix Fly Ash increases compressive strength at later-ages (at early ages compressive strength may be lower than control mix).

Origin
Builmix Fly Ash is directly imported from coal-driven thermal power plants, where Fly Ash is obtained as a by-product. Then it undergoes quality control check and finally it’s packed and exported to our warehouses. Every shipment is accompanied by a test report from independent testing third party laboratory to assure quality compliance of Fly Ash with ASTM C 618 class F
